Book Authors
Peter Bobkowski is an associate professor in the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at University of Kansas. He has been teaching JOUR 302: Infomania since 2012. His research focuses on the developmental role of media among adolescents and emerging adults, as well as information and data literacy.
Karna Younger is an assistant librarian and faculty engagement librarian at the University of Kansas Libraries. Her research focuses on media and information literacy, as well as open education.

Kerry Benson is chair of Strategic Communications and a lecturer at the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas. She has more than 30 years of news and advertising experience.
Callie Branstiter is the first-year experience and undergraduate student success librarian at San Francisco State University and former undergraduate engagement librarian at the University of Kansas Libraries, with a background in marketing.
Caitlin Donnelly Klepper has been the Head of Public Services at Kenneth Spencer Research Library at the University of Kansas since 2012. Her previous professional experience includes working as the archivist at the Daughters of the Republic of Texas Library at the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas, from 2008 to 2012.
Carmen Orth-Alfie is an assistant librarian and graduate engagement librarian at the University of Kansas Libraries. Orth-Alfie has taught graduate courses in data journalism and government information at the University of Kansas and the School of Library and Information Management at Emporia State University, respectively.
Jonathan Peters is an assistant professor of journalism at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. Also holding an affiliate faculty position in the School of Law, Peters specializes in communication law and policy and is the Columbia Journalism Review’s press freedom correspondent.
Eric Thomas is the director of the Kansas Scholastic Press Association and lecturer in the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at University of Kansas. Previously, he taught high school journalism, becoming a Master Journalism Educator through the Journalism Education Association, and was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for his photojournalism.
Paul Thomas is a library associate at the University of Kansas Libraries specializing in citation management systems. Thomas is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the School of Library and Information Management at Emporia State University.
