Writing 7

Exercise A

In a diagram, briefly list the vacations described in the readings. What activities are mentioned for each vacation? Please list the shopping related to each reading.

Tip: Use columns for each reading and bullet points for activities and shopping. This will help you organize the information.

Please focus on the grammatical structures used in the readings when describing vacations. (e.g., past tense verbs, prepositions, and adjectives). Identify at least three key structures from the readings that you can use in your writing.

Reflect on your favorite most recent vacation and list all the activities you enjoyed and the food you ate. Here are some questions to help guide your vacation description:

أين سافرت؟

مع من سافرت؟

في أيّ فندق أقمت؟

ماذا فعلت؟

Tip: Use past-tense verbs when describing your vacation.

Revise your draft. Are there any new vocabulary words or grammatical structures you need to describe your vacation?

In a group, ask your classmates about their favorite vacations. Did you learn anything about a new destination? Will you consider it for future trips, and why?
